You may use Vota to create campaign workspaces, manage supporters, review citizen issues, coordinate volunteers, run events, track public promises, publish approved evidence, review peace desk reports, and manage campaign operations.
These terms govern use of Vota by campaign owners, team members, volunteers, citizens, and visitors. Vota is operated by Zama Systems Limited for peaceful, accountable, issue-based campaign organization.
Effective date: June 8, 2026
You may use Vota to create campaign workspaces, manage supporters, review citizen issues, coordinate volunteers, run events, track public promises, publish approved evidence, review peace desk reports, and manage campaign operations.
Campaign owners are responsible for users invited to their workspace, the accuracy of campaign information, account security, role assignment, lawful communication, and the way campaign data is collected and used.
Vota must be used for peaceful, issue-based, lawful, and respectful campaign work. Users must not use the platform for hate speech, violence coordination, intimidation, ethnic profiling, tribe-based targeting, opponent scoring, misinformation, harassment, vote buying, or harmful mobilization.
Citizens may submit issues, supporter signups, volunteer details, event RSVPs, peace reports, and demo requests. Campaign teams must review submissions responsibly and should not publish private or sensitive details without a lawful reason and proper consent.
Promise tracker and evidence features are intended for accountability. Campaign teams must not knowingly publish false evidence, defamatory claims, private personal data, or unverified harmful allegations.
Pricing, onboarding, add-ons, SMS or WhatsApp credits, training, custom workflows, and support may be handled through invoices, M-Pesa STK callbacks, manual fallback records, or agreed service packages unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Zama Systems Limited may suspend or restrict access where a workspace is unpaid, abusive, unlawful, harmful, insecure, or used in a way that violates these terms or civic integrity safeguards.
Vota is improved continuously. Features may change, be added, or be limited during MVP and managed onboarding periods. The platform is provided with reasonable care, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Campaign owners may request reasonable data export or workspace closure support. Some records may be retained where required for security, audit, billing, legal, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Questions about these terms, onboarding, billing, or account access should be sent through the Vota contact page. The parties should first try to resolve issues in good faith.
No hate speech, intimidation, violence coordination, or harmful mobilization.
Use public submissions for follow-up, accountability, and lawful campaign communication only.
Publish updates that are reviewed, accurate, and respectful of private data.
